Alicia Keys To Meet With African Youths


American recording artist Alicia Keys will be meeting with a selected group of African youths in the MTV Base Meets…with MTN TV show
Keys who is the co-founder and global ambassador of Keep a Child Alive (KCA), a non-profit organization that provides medicine to families with HIV and AIDS in Africa, was voted by African youths to appear in the televised forum.
I am honored to be a part of this important series and to connect with young Africans to hear what’s on their minds, and discuss the issues that are close to my heart’, Alicia Keys commented.
The multi-platinum selling artiste joins the list of influential people like Nigerian entertainment mogul, Ben Murray-Bruce, philanthropist and entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, Nigerian billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, African Presidents Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (Liberia), Paul Kagame (Rwanda) and president of the African National Congress Youth League, Julius Malema.
MTV base Meets…with MTN is an initiative created by MTV Networks Africa and MTN to provide young Africans with a unique opportunity to share their candid insights about business and entrepreneurship with business leaders and political icons and to hear their views on some of the key issues facing African youth today
